Chiara Radicia, MSc Student


Bio

Chiara Radicia graduated from University of Tuscia in 2023. During his bachelor in biotechnology training, she joined the Dr. Marcello Meledandri lab of Microbiology and Virology at San Filippo Neri Hospital in Rome. During this period, she acquired skills in bacterial, viral and human DNA extraction techniques, Real Time PCR technology, and chemiluminescence immunoassay technology.

In May 2023, Chiara joined Velardi's laboratory at Bambino Gesù Children Hospital. Her main interests lie in the experimental thesis project on the role of thymic functionality in patients' response to immunotherapy. She aims to analyze thymic functionality in patients undergoing immunotherapy and understand how assessing thymic functionality before and during immunotherapy can provide insights into the patient's response to the treatment.
