Carmen D. De Luca, MD

Bio

Carmen D. De Luca graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pavia in 2018. During medical training and internship master’s degree, she focused on pediatric hematology and oncology at Bambino Gesù Children Hospital in Rome. In November 2018, she joined Velardi’s group as a research fellow in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (Bambino Gesù Children Hospital). From 2019 she attends Specialisation School in Pediatrics of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rome.  She’s currently focusing on factors that influence immune reconstitution and outcomes of pediatric patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cells transplantation and gene and cell therapy.
